Rain, lightning and the Richmond Destiny Kickers were just too much for the Brevard County Cocoa Expos women's soccer team Sunday night.

Today at 5:30 p.m., the Brevard County Cocoa Expos can finish what they started on Saturday.

The women's soccer team was dominant in the second half of its Saturday game against the Atlanta Silverbacks and took a 1-0 victory to set up a battle for first place in the Atlantic Division of the W-League. That will be against the Richmond Kickers Destiny (7-1). [Read more...]

Cocoa, FL. - Erin Switalski, goalkeeper for the 2006 Cocoa Expo Women will be moving overseas to finish the remainder of the spring season with Vejlby IK, a Danish professional women’s side. Switalski, a Cleveland, Ohio native, was one of the backbones of the Expo’s finely organized defensive line that shut out seven of their last nine opponents to finish the 2006 season in second place and missing a national playoff position in a tiebreaker to the Lady Kickers from Richmond.
